Vandaag zijn we, in kader van de restaurantweek, gaan lunchen in restaurant Guillaume te Brugge.

Na de negatieve ervaring van Kris Buytaert besloot ik onze zeer positieve ervaring ook neer te schrijven.

Vorige week een platte voorband gehad. Zelf vervangen.
Deze week belde ik naar de garage om deze te laten vervangen/herstellen. De persoon aan de telefoon vertelt mij dat zo een leasingcontract normaal ook winterbanden bevat en of ik die niet wilde geplaatst hebben daar het zo een beetje "dien tijd van't jaar" is. Natuurlijk heb ik daar geen bezwaar tegen.

Daarnet wandel ik dus binnen in de garage met de melding dat ik dus de banden gewisseld wil naar winterbanden. De persoon aan de balie bekijkt de papieren lacht mij net niet uit met de melding dat er maar 2 banden in het leasingcontract zitten en hoe ik die 4 winterbanden in die 2 ga krijgen. Leuk is het niet.

Ik had initieel zelfs niet gevraagd om winterbanden en dan zo een opmerking te krijgen is niet aangenaam.

Dus nu hier wachten tot ze de kapotte band dan maar vervangen door een 'gewone' band.

Since This weekend the timing of the traffic lights on the intersection of the E403/N31 with the Koning Albert I laan in Brugge has changed. The green-time has been reduced drastically from ? to about 10 seconds.
Maybe some 'bright' engineer might have thought this would be beneficiary but the effect I noticed is not that interesting.
In the direction of Kortrijk, where i usually had maximum 1 light-cycle to wait, the line was at least 4 times the size of usual and a longer wait.
In the direction of the coast the situation is much worse. Usually there is a line-up of around 1 1/2 km. This morning the traffic was stopped or slow for 7 km!
Let's hope this situation will be corrected soon.

Update 18/11/2008
The timing has been changed back to 25 seconds. No more linup direction Kortrijk and Direction coast the usual-with-heavy-rain 2 km line. Good one!
